Vacuum coat
We specialize in vacuum metallizing of plastic parts with high shape complexity at a professional level. Vacuum metallizing of plastics is the process of applying a thin layer of metal onto the surface of a plastic mold, which takes place in a vacuum, followed by a transparent polymer layer for protection against atmospheric influences.
The result is plastic molds with high reflectivity, with a thin layer of aluminum applied. These are mainly used for headlights in the automotive industry, where they have practically replaced metal chrome parts. We have 2 Bühler coating units for aluminum deposition. A prerequisite for meeting the quality conditions according to the IATF standard is high-quality semi-finished product - plastic mold, as well as process stability in applying the metal layer. Thanks to our ability to ensure a stable process, we can be reliable suppliers for customers such as BMW, Ford, or Skoda Auto.
